The Johnathan Doody Memorial Scholarship
Our organization thrives due to its academic nature. Both our undergraduate and graduate members recognize the importance of higher education, and lifelong learning. When an undergraduate student, Johnathan J. Doody, passed away suddenly in 1993, we felt obligated to honour his accomplishments. The Johnathan J. Doody Memorial Scholarship has been awarded yearly since 2006 to help reward the hard work of high school students, and provide them with the support to excel at post secondary study. The five criteria for the award are friendship, knowledge, morality, service, and excellence, which mimic the values that we adhere to as an organization.
Applicants must be in their final year of high school study, and be planning to attend the University of Alberta in the following school year.
Unfortunately, the deadline for the 2009 scholarship has now passed. Thank you to all applicants, and we congratulate you on your amazing accomplishments this past year! Finalists will be notified in July.
The application package for the 2010 scholarship form will be posted in September 2009.

If you know of an outstanding student planning on attending the University of Alberta, we encourage you to pass this information on to them.
